My Dad and This Blog - His Experiences in the War

Today, after Joel Libava (@franpro) linked to my blog on his blog for veteran franchises, I finally called my dad to tell him about this blog.

It didn't faze him, since hardly anything ever does. But when I told him that people were reading and responding, he said, "You're kidding me! I thought people would be like, 'Oh yeah, heard that story already.'"

"No, this is really unique," I said. I told him that I'd gotten an email from the people at Soldier's Angels, and that my coworker, @sharakarasic had even left a comment on the blog saying she couldn't wait to read more.

My dad started laughing. "Wow, maybe we'll write a book someday," he said.

"Yes, yes, that's what we're doing!" I told him.

This adventure is exciting for both of us.

Hi Eve,
Your Dad needs to know that you are writing about important stuff. Now write-away!

Eve!

This is a brilliant article! Your presenting a live interview right before your reader's eyes and giving them a taste of what it might be like to pick up a War Veteran's journal.

Many of us have relatives that were in the War, but not all of them are comfortable re-visiting their war experiences. Kudos to your Dad for sharing his story!

Thank you!

Thank you so much for reading, you guys! I'll show your comments to my dad when I go for our next "interview" this weekend. :)
